It should be noted that the Brimstone Trap is quite costly for the way mobs take damage from these traps. The Brimstone Trap will affect mobs standing directly on top of it and will trigger 3 times before it takes a 12 second cooldown. This form of damaging mobs is not necessarily the only way to increase damage, however for some players this may be a great way to deal damage. Players will want to make the best of this by pairing up multiple types of traps with fire damage as well as traps that increase said fire damage. The Brimstone Trap is the size of a regular trap, being 2×2 squares, or one standard square and will be best used when placed at the forefront of a “maze” set up by Barricades. When it comes to placing Brimstone, much like other traps, you’ll want to ask yourself the following: Unfortunately, the Brimstone trap isn’t going to be the best trap when it comes to fully killing enemies as players will have to rely on other trap in order to successfully kill mobs, but it is definitely a great addition to have on your front line to ensure that mobs take some extra damage or combos before they die.
ARCANE DAMAGE ORCS MUST DIE 3 UPGRADE
I’ll have to be honest in saying that unlocking Brimstone sent me back to the days where my husband and I used to play a great deal of Orcs Must Die: Unchained and I used to main Smolder.īrimstone is quite a situational trap that I liked using more in previous renditions of the game, though in Orcs Must Die 2, I haven’t found it to be as strong unless upgraded towards begin Arcane Damage.īrimstone is interesting, in the sense that upon igniting an enemy with it, the enemy will continue to take damage while making it’s way down a map, but the unfortunate reality is that in Orcs Must Die 3, there are a number of mobs that are immune to fire damage.īeing that fire immunity has become much more common in Orcs Must Die 3, players are going to be more likely to avoid this trap unless they upgrade it further.
